Rotation option in brush greyed out

Hello,

I am trying to understand why the rotation option is not active when creating a brush. I was following along with a tutorial about creating a brush and setting the rotation was part of the instruction.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled illustrator

My wacom is up to date

Please tell us about your system.

Did you install the Wacom driver according to the instructions. Also with Wacom sometimes the newest driver is not the best option and you need an older one.

If you have a Mac, you need to allow the Wacom in your security settings.

I did, wacom told me I had an update and I went ahead with their recommendations.

What stuff do you need to know about my system? (I'm 100% not versed in all things tech) I know the following:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 laptop GPU

Windows 11 Pro for Workstations

32.0 GB installed RAM

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz

Can you try and disable Windows Ink?
