I'm trying to create rounded corners both with Illustrator tools and also with script.

and the problem in the image below is occurring:

Is it possible to avoid this bad result?

what's wrong? is that particular corner being ignored? have you tried changing the radius value?

this corner is being ignored yes.
not even the corner widget appears.

I increased the radius and it didn't work either.

The Round corner effect has always only really worked well with 90° corners.
