RTL (Hebrew and Arabic) option missing 29.6.1

hey, so no matter what i tried, i don't have this option to set the text direction anymore (both windows and mac). anyone has an idea on how do i get it back?

i tried following this article, but there is no info about this missing option

Could you try installing the Arabic/Hebrew version of Illustrator (https://adobe.ly/3I3jB19) and checking if it helps?
