Rulers displaying too many unit marks after Illustrator reset

After Illustrator crashed and I restarted it with reset settings, the rulers started displaying unusually — they're very condensed and show every single unit mark. Do you know what might be causing this?

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Try resetting Illustrator preferences after backing it up and update if that helps. Ref: https://adobe.ly/4lLNWQ0
Also, please let me know which version of Illustrator and OS you're on.
