Same font displays the letter "a" differently in illustrator and in inDesign

Hello, 

I have a problem with the font "Geologica".

The design of the letter "a" is displayed correctly in InDesign but in Illustrator the same font displays the same letter differently.

I've checked multiple softwares, and in Ms Word the font also is displayed incorrectly.

I've attached an image so you can see the problem.

Has this happened with any of you? Do you know what the problem is?

This is weird because it's my company's brand font and something is not right with it.
