Save Error and odd dialogue in V 27.0.0

I'm getting

"Converting text objects with variable fonts and colored" - which makes no sense for starters (colored what?)

has a progress bar bar when saving the same file every time, can take up to 5 minutes

Somethimes it says

"Illustrator is unable to save this document "xxxxx.ai" due to some unexpected errors. (some unexpected errors?)

So I have to save out a new file

Any ideas anyone?

Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind checking if Illustrator also behaves this way with other files?

Also, are there PNG files embedded in the document? Would it be possible for you to share the file with us so we can check it on our end?

We are sorry for the trouble. We are able to replicate this behavior with a couple of specific files shared by other users. A bug has already been logged with the product team, and they are investigating the issue.

Would you mind upvoting this UserVoice and adding your comments there? By doing this, you will get updates and help us prioritize it. Also, it is the best way to communicate with the Engineering and Product teams regarding issues or feature requests.
