Save for Web Modal Window not Resizing

Question

Using MacOS 12.6/M1 Max MBP/AI 27.0

I have multiple monitors, one is 4K, when using modal such as the "Save for Web" option, the modal opens on the smaller monitor at the 4k width, meaning it cuts off most of it until resized manually.

It would be very helpful if the modal could sniff the size of the window it is opening in and then adjust automagically to fit that. (same same with the x and y position of opening.)

Thanks for reaching out. I can understand the frustration of resizing the dialog box. Save for Web is a legacy option under Export. As of now, there are no plans to enhance legacy modals.

I would suggest posting this on UserVoice (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/). By doing this, others can upvote, and more upvotes will help prioritize it.

Also, this is the best way of communicating with the Engineering and Product teams regarding issues and suggestions so they can be implemented in future releases.
