Saving graphics in PNG in Illustrator, but it shows greyish artboard background when uploaded on WEB

I'm saving all my graphics in PNG and it's transparent but when Uploaded on the web it shows a white or greyish background of the artboard, I can't figure out why.

Did you add the outer glow or white drop shadow to your main plate? The final image looks like if you exported the artwork without using artboards (= ALL content in the file), and the effect takes some space too.

nope, there is no effect used.

And I used the artboard setting while exporting.

Can you point out which of these images is which and what exactly we're supposed to be looking at in each?

I suppose it's a light-gray area under the main (the biggest) rounded rectangle.
