Saving Multiple Artboards as AI files - Naming Issue

Hello

When I'm trying to save multiple artboards as AI files it's asking for a name in the dialog box before I can save ...so for example:

My artboards are named:

Design-1
Design-2
Design-3

etc,etc

However, when I attempt to save them as separate AI files... it ends up being

design_design-1
design_design-2
design_design-3

Is there any way I can just save the separate artboards in bulk by their artboard name only in AI format?
