Question

Saving Multiple Pages

I have an Adobe Illustrator file that I am trying to save as a PDF.

There is only 1 artboard. However, every time I try to save it as a PDF, it makes 4 pages in the PDF. The 4 pages are absolutely identical in every way as far as I can tell.

I can manually set the save to be only 1 page by adjusting the range in the save options. But that is a pain as I have to remember to do that every time I make the save

It is possible to have multiple artboards on top of each other, so it looks like there is only one.

As Mike suggested, check the Artboards panel.

I apparently did have multiple artboards on top of each other. I have no idea how that happened. The problem is now resolved. Thanks for the help.

When you have only one artboard, then range is greyed out. Can you please check your artboards palette to ensure there is only one.

Does this happen with all documents? If just this one copy all and paste into a new document.
