Saving PDF and it goes black??

Hi there-

I'm finishing up a map that I'm creating and it looks perfect when I'm editing, and it's on my screen. If I save it as a pdf and try to email it, print, etc, the background goes completely black. Some layers show up, but I cannot figure out why some are showing black when I save it??

which Application are you using to view the pdf?

 

Have you tried reoping the saved pdf file back in AI?


Which settings did you choose when saving pdf?

 

try turning off (gpu/cpu) by pressing ctrl  + E (Pc)  or cmd + E ( mac ) and save the artwork.


You can aslo try coping the artwork and past it in a née document then save it as Pdf.
