Hi community,

When trying to save out my A6 flyers to print PDF, the images which are vector appear darkened out. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

My top guess would be you have an overprint preview issue

In Illustrator view >> overprint preview. This is off by default, and really wish Adobe would make this on by default.

In Acrobat you turn on overprint preview here.

If you still have trouble, please post a sample file (using dropbox, google drive or similar), or a snippet of the issue if you can. We can usually can provide solutions on first try with files, and don't have to type up a long list of questions for you to answer.

Try to make a PDF using the PDX3-2002 Option.

    How exactly is this built?

How exactly do you save your PDFs?

    Is that an RGB file?

How is color management set up?

Which version of Illustrator is this?

In which application do you open the  PDF? Acrobat? If not, open it in Acrobat.
