Scale type

Why is it impossible for me scale my type to 12,25pt and only 12pt.

Are you drag scaling, or using the transform pallete?

Is the text in a group, in a clipping path?

Is it live text (are you highlighting the text (i.e. with text tool), or selecting it (i.e. not the text tool)), or outlined?

Can you please tell us the steps you are doing?

I have tried it - snap to pixel should not cause this - but just in case: can you tell us whether it's turned on?

Also: just in case: which version is it?
