Scaling problems in Illustrator 2025

There’s a problem with Illustrator 2025 — when I scale objects up or down, the strokes and effects also change, but not proportionally. I checked the Preferences, and “Scale Strokes & Effects” is turned on, but it still scales everything in a very strange way.

Can you show the appearances for the objects in the group that are scaling non-proportionally?

Also what is your outline object effect for?

Thanks for reporting this. Could you please confirm the exact version of Illustrator 2025 you're using and your operating system details? I'd also suggest updating to the latest version (v30.0) and testing again, as this might already be addressed in the update. Let me know how it goes once you've tried that, and we can check further if needed.
