Scaling/Rotating objects in Illustrator

Since my last update, I am unable to select an object and scale/rotate it. It's not giving my a bounding box. I have to go to the drop down menu o do my work. It's horrible. Is there a shortcut that can get this back for me? Please help.

      Thanks for the help. Not sure how I missed that...all 3 times I looked thru the menu.
