Screen Rotating by itself

I have my HP Envy  in   in portrait mode, i also have an alienware display plugged in via Type C Hub
When i open illustrator on my laptop, it flips my screen to landscape, when i click anywhere else on the screen, it rotates back again to portrait, its annoying because when i drag illustrator to my second monitor, my laptop screen rotates to landscape, i click back on the laptop screen and i rotates back to portrait, is there any fix? Auto rotation is already locked, i tried modifying the registry too, i ran scripts that disabled my rotation sensors, nothing seems to work.

Hi @jesus_8314,

Thanks for sharing the details and the screenshots. I understand how frustrating it must be when the display keeps flipping like that. Could you please confirm your exact Illustrator version, Windows operating system build, and GPU model(you can open the system information(msinfo32), save the system summary and share it with us), and also share whether this only happens with Illustrator or with other apps as well? A short screen recording of the behavior would also help me as well. In the meantime, please make sure your display drivers are fully updated from the manufacturer's site and test the setup once without the Type C hub if possible to see if the behavior changes.

Looking forward to your update.

Abhishek
