Scripting on Object blend

Hi Team,

i would like to write a script for blend 2 objects using Specified Steps option.

the specifeid steps value need to be defined in the script on run time

i have 2 selected objects and able to make the blend using

app.executeMenuCommand("Path Blend Make");

but, how i can

set the option to specified steps?

set number of required steps?
