Seeking industry expert feedback

Hello! I am a graphic design student. My assessment is to get feedback from industry experts on some of my works (made for my clients). Could you please give me feedback and show me areas that should be improved. I will appreciate that. Thank you.

I would have to reiterate what everyone else is saying, all looks good in principle but again depends on the brief and 'What the client wants'. Every brief is different and as long as you please the client with your design (making sure it is orignal) and works practically with the medium you intend to use it for then great.

Graphics design is not art. It doesn't stand by itself. When giving feedback, you always have to keep the brief in mind. You cannot judge graphic design without knowing what should be achieved with it. What was the job about? What should be achieved with the artwork? And in which way will it be used?

For example: Your "Freya" artwork

That is a nice drawing of a woman.

But it looks like it should be a logo. In that context it doesn't work at all. The lines are so thin that they will vanish when printed on  business card. It also doesn't work on that window and you can already judge that from the preview of the photo inside your post on the forum. The logo is barely legible. On a shop window the logo usually should be legible from afar for obvious reasons. But you can barely see it, since it's dark on dark and too small.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. Yep, making a request like that make no sense at all. All the best!

Ksenia,

"Yep, making a request like that make no sense at all."

Now that the request is off the table, here is a feedback that surely makes no more sense, referring to two of the works.

To me it seems that the drawn and written Freya is a (literally) fine representation of that (kind of) business (and undoubtedly fully in line with the brief), also as (the crucial part of the) logo, working well for (the left part of) a standard size business card (maybe with a soft non white background), a general suggestion being the (rather small) Day Spa & Beauty part enlarged and moved (and rotated anticlockwise to be vertical) to the right; and to me the photo shows that it works well with the reflexions of the greenery and opposite building.

If i may ask, have you considered moving the drawn Freya a wee bit down and even less to the left (or just a wee bit to the left) so her elbow (almost) rests on the (left extension of the) bar of the F where it meets the (extended) stem?

And if I may ask, what made you discard the option of using the third flower colour for the closed &?

My assessment is to get feedback

What kind of feedback are you looking for? Artistic merit? Commercial application? Style? Meeting your client's brief or something else?

The images you have posted are beautiful. Are they all your own original creation? Did you do the photography yourself? What was the brief from the client?
