selected dialog box turns white

Hello, I'm not able to see the values when I select any box to change values. when selected instead of being gray it is white and disappears with the values.. if anyone can help I appreciate it...

I'm using
Illustrator 26.2.1
macbook pro 2019 monterey 12.3.1

Have you tried resetting your preferences..?
