selection area wrong showing

when i select somthing the bounding box is showing somewhere and also the size of the bounding box is also not actual selection size

Did you check it out in the Laers panel?

Are there locked layers or maybe single anchor points?

And if everything is correct, but the selection still wrong - did you already reboot the system?
