Serious Lag and Bugs in Illustrator 2025 ( 29.8.1) Despite High-End Hardware

I’m currently using the latest version of Adobe Illustrator 2025 (v29.8.1), and honestly, I’m really disappointed.

Even in 2025, it’s frustrating to see so many issues and bugs still persisting:

 

  1. It feels much slower compared to previous versions.
  2. Newly installed fonts don’t appear until I relaunch Illustrator.
  3. The “Scale Strokes & Effects” option keeps turning off automatically.

I’ve faced these problems on both my laptop and PC, and my PC isn’t underpowered . it’s running an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB RAM, and an RTX 3080 GPU.
Despite that, I still experience lag and frequent crashes, which is really disappointing for such a powerful setup... Very very poor quality product

@athletic_Twilight2988 Maybe I am just lucky as I am using an Apple Mac 27" Studio Display with M2 Max Series with 32 gigs of RAM and I feel it screaming fast.
