Shapes won't snap to grid

Hi there, i'm using a grid to arrange some rectangles for a logo, i have snap to grids, pixels and points as well as smart guides all turned on . . . but the shapes still won't snap to the grid, any help would be appreciated

    What happens if you only have snap to grids on, or only Smart Guides, maybe with snap to points?
