Share swatches from network volume to all graphics studio users

HI.

I'm struggling with finding the best solution to share some ASE or AI swatch library from some fixed local network drive to Mac users.

I've made some alias for this target file and shared them with all users by copying this alias to

user/library/application support/adobe/adobe illustrator xx/your language folder/swatches

All works fine but the problem is they don't remain as swatch panels (tabs) after restarting Adobe Illustrator even saving the workspace.

Every time we have to look for them inside swatch libraries and then open them up again. Making them persistent is breaking the link to the network drive so they are never more up-to-date when the main swatch file will be updated. We're trying to manage all our customer's swatches inside one file and it would be helpful to find a working well solution.

What happens if you do not use an alias, but load the swatches library directly from the server and make it persistent? The library should appear in the list of swatches in the swatches panel.

Yes, it's listed even it is an alias. The problem is when I add tab with these custom swatches onto my side of workspace it will disappear every relaunch of Adobe Illustrator. Custom swatches only remain in the swatches library inside Windows/Swatch Libraries. I want to keep it on my adjusted workspace all the time, even restarting Illustrator
