Shift and Spacebar non responsive or sticking while using Wacom Tablet

Hey guys.

This is driving me nuts. It seems to only happen in Illustrator CC... none of the other Adobe products. When holding down shift to resize objects the key is non responsive OR it sticks and I have to hit the shift key repeatedly to "unstick" it. The same with the spacebar.

It's a brand new keyboard and a brand new tablet. I even switched keyboards thinking it was defective. Nothing has helped.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm using the Wacom Intuous Pro... using most up to date Creative Cloud Suite.
