Having trouble with the combination of Shift+Option in Illustrator v21.1.0 on OS X 10.12.5

Just Shift works fine, just Option works fine, Shift + Option together won't work only in Illustrator.

Working properly in InDesign & Photoshop.

Tried Illustrator restart.

Tried computer restart.

Tried trashing preferences.

Tried a new user account.

Tried reinstalling Illustrator.

Someone please save me.

So no browser, no e-mail, no banking software?

Wacom just published a new driver today that should address modifier keys problems. Maybe it will solve the issue.

Well turns out a bit of the opposite, you mentioning the drivers of my Wacom reminded me that I allowed it to run an update the other day, which is when all this funny business began. Whatever they did to fix their modifier key issue broke something else in Illustrator, I installed the previous driver and I can use the shift+option combination on my keyboard again.

Thanks for getting me in the right direction, going to put a support ticket into them to let them know the issue.

I am experiencing the SAME PROBLEM. Must keep a mouse connected for when I want to constrain/copy an item in illustrator! It's only been since the most recent Wacom driver update.

WHich other apps are running at the moment?

Please list all of them, even the small ones.

No other apps running, even gone into activity monitor to try and hunt any odd processes down that I don't recognize and kill them to see if they are causing the problem.

To even further confuse me, my shift+option on my Wacom will work in Illustrator but the keyboard will not. Have tried with a few different keyboards to rule that out as well.
