Shortcut Keys for Grid Not Working

Trying to re-establish settings in Illustrator. I noticed the shortcut key for showing the Grid is not working. The assigned shortcut key does not have a value assigned. I know I can assign a key there. However, most keys are assigned to others. What should be assigned?

Thanks

Abhishek;

Appreciate the response. I had to reset the preferences though. I also discovered there is more than one grid in Illustrator :-). I was trying to assign Ctrl +' shortcut key to the Rectangle Grid tool. I was getting an error unable to use function or ctrl keys. 🙂 Thanks

Hi @westdr1dw,

By default, the shortcut to show or hide the grid in Illustrator is Ctrl +'  on Windows. If this is blank in your settings, you can assign it back through Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. Here is a link to the full list of Illustrator shortcuts for your reference: https://adobe.ly/4nQWiXO. Please give this a try and let me know if it restores the shortcut or if the problem continues.

Looking forward to your update.
