Show List of Graphics Styles by Object/Apply GS to ALL Objects?

Merry Christmas everyone.

I am realtively new to Ai. I design wood engravings so I must export my final Ai files as SVG, then into a CNC machine (objects and text). They need a custom graphic style applied for the CNC to read.

I have never been able to select all objects and apply the grahic style to everything at once. Some objects always get missed. I have to check and/or manually select objects, then apply the graphic style I need. I usually miss one or two objects and this messes up my cutting.

Is there a way to display a list (maybe in the layers palette?) that shows all objects and the graphic style applied to them. This would allow me to check if I missed applying the graphic style need to all obects.

Or perhaps there is another trick to selecting all objects I am missing—I am using "Select ALL" then clicking on my graphic style.  It just never seems to apply the style to ALL, only some objects.

Thanks in advance.

You may check if this way is useful:

1. Highlight a graphic style in the Graphic Styles panel

2. Select menu > Same > Graphic Style

3. Select menu > Inverse

If there are no locked or hidden objects / layers you should now get a selection of all objects to which the graphic style is not applied. Then you can apply the style to them.

In case this does not work as expected, you may share a sample Illustrator file for inspection.

You can highlight a graphic style in the Graphic Styles panel an then go to Select menu > Same > Graphic Style.

That should select all objects to which the style is applied.

Is that something you're looking for?

Just tried your trick. That's pretty darn close to what I am looking for. Sadly it won't highlight other objects if they don't already have a graphic style applied (then the Select > Same > Graphic Style menu is dimmed); it only selects a similar graphic style if one has been applied. However, it's much more efficient than clicking on every object and checking the GS palette.

Thanks so very much. That saves me a whole lot of time!

Cheers Kurt.
