Single trace lines

I need to trace some artwork but when I use image trace and expand it I get two images one inside the other.

Let's say for example draw a Circle Scan it in as JPEG or PNG and then Tracy and  expand it. Then look at the image  it has 1 circle inside the other,  I need a single line between the 2 circles that the only image I'm interested in.

If anyone has the knowledge how to do this I would greatly appreciated your help.

    You need to trace in black and white and then select to only trace strokes.

    You might want to read the documentation.

    It din't work. Still have two circles outline.
