The scribble hereby sent passes over two notebook pages, I tested this one because I liked the drawing. For your info, I am nor content nor unhappy with the result and will continue testing Sketch2Vector. I am curious to try all the new fantastic Adobe tools and particularly this one. I have a ton of these scribbles at home one more complex than the other. Unfortunately they will end up nowhere, who will sit for hours and "clean up all the whites in Photoshop or sit for 50 h and vectorise manually every stroke.. and unfortunatelly you can only get the energy and beauty of these kind of sketches on paper. I am a very rapid illustrator, painter etc everything I do well is fast and I would like the programs I work in to be as fast, smooth and good as the mood I´m in when I create things or similarly play chess. I would like my tools to pick up this speed and they sure are starting to do so lately, yet with AI it is not always what I wanted nor can I quite get the look nor pinpoint the vision that was what I imagined. When the vision in us that we have and that we get inside is lost and we can´t translate it nor get it out as we want easely, AI will take over and tell us what our vision is and this has now already started to happen. Firefly very often tells me, I´m not doing it any different for you, this is what I want to make. Stubborn but kind it does create nice things and with speed indeed.
You may call this idea "New Vintage sketch mode" or "Future proofing vectors"... with the slogan " Did you like your drawing? Now take it to the next level" with the all New Illustrator version out now (WebVersion or WebApp doesn´t matter) : ) I didn´t expect anything of Sketch2Vector I was just very happy to try this new feauture out and the result is new for me. I will definately test it further, get the contrasts just right in Photoshop before taking it to the Illustrator app and then back to Illustrator.. (I work on a WacomCintiq Pro 24, my eyes don´t like working on smaller devices) I am the age of a graphic designer who got her Masters 2 years before the iPhone arrived, and what a journey. Please note my brain will not tolerate me to sit and make this whole drawing manually into vector, therefore my style will never exist. For all us artists with a unique style who don´t want their art to look AI like, simple and like everyone elses. For us who learned the hard way how to draw and spent so much time effort and money, for us.. Sketch2Vector is a Great Tool! To make it even better Adobe could possibly make brushes with built in small handles as you draw.. A gradient wheel making it possible to highlight traces and whiten the background.. and options to choose if we want more or less details in the colors to be picked up, hereby blending with some Photoshop features. This would make things faster and less back and forth. Further examples could be additional choice of amounts of ancorpoints for ex. Possibly new sensitive gloves drawing on some new material will fast paced learn what the artist wants from feedback and swiftly swivel vectors in any direction desired to create magic at our fingertips.. but that seems a little futuristic for now. Let´s build this step by step.
Thank for taking your time and listening, Yours sincerely,
