Slow Performance | Illustrator 28.7.1 - macOS 15

Just got a Macbook Pro M3 Max, with 48g ram. As other comments, Illustrator super slow/laggy, almost impossible to work. I have installed the latest version 28.7.1 and the 2023 27.0, they all have the same problem. I dont have any apps like Magnet installed. I have a second Dell 27in Premiercolor 2K monitor, the Typeface app, Whatsapp and Chrome. Please, what can I do??? I need to work...

Hello @7776564,

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind confirming if Monika's suggestions helped resolve the problem? If not, could you kindly try restarting your computer in Safe Mode and then launching Illustrator to check if it helps?

If the problem persists, please check if Illustrator behaves this way when working with a particular file/tool/feature or when accessing/storing files from a certain folder/location.
