Question

slow performance in illustrator.

Hi team

I'm reaching out again regarding my experience with Adobe Illustrator. Previously, I was using version 27.9, and after upgrading to the current version, I noticed a significant increase in runtime for my process.

  • Previous Process Time: 15 hours
  • Current Process Time: 24 hours

Additionally, while running the software, I checked the Task Manager and observed that both memory and CPU usage are excessively high.

This issue occurs every time I upgrade the version, and it's becoming quite troublesome.

Could you please provide some necessary actions or solutions to improve this situation?
Thank you!

Hello @Santhana Kiru31727334jpbt,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind sharing more details, like the OS/Illustrator version, your system config (CPU/GPU/RAM), if Illustrator behaves this way when working on a particular file or using a specific feature/tool, and a screen recording of the problem (if possible) so we can check it on our end?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hello @Santhana Kiru31727334jpbt,

Thanks for sharing the details. Kindly confirm the Make/Model of the GPU installed on your computer and whether Illustrator behaves this way with some file(s) or when using a particular feature/tool. Also, try the suggestions shared here (https://adobe.ly/3XNyjP4) and let us know if they help.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
