Lately Ive been having lag issues with Illustrator opening. It takes a few minutes - and when i cmd+opt+esc to see the tasks it always says “not responding.” It does eventually open, but wondering why this is happening? I keep looking for an update to the program, but its been 2 weeks now.

Also, try running Illustrator after rebooting your computer in Safe Mode (Windows) and a different administrator account (Windows) and share your observations.
