Question

Slowness loading / pinwheel reappearing

I'm experiencing issues with the pinwheel stopping production while working on a file in illustrator. I'm confident that is nothing to do with my computer and I'm ONLY experiencing the slowness in CC apps. It seems that this is an ongoing issue that gets slightly better but then gets really bad and hinders my productivity and work schedule. It seems the creative cloud desktop app sync is slowing down the functionality of the program tremendously. We have a handful of creatives here also experiencing similar issues and it is causing loss of time and patience.

All possible updates have been completed on some machines, other machines are not updated are also experiencing the same issues.

As of now we are all closing the CC desktop app because it is so troublesome.

What OS are you on and are you connecting to the server afp: or smb:? For example on a mac server if you have one single computer connecting Samba this would happen.

For the Adobe apps to function properly the Creative Cloud App needs to be up and running without error or else you may get errors when trying to save or open file.

Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't open or shows a spinning progress wheel

disable sync to test if that's the issue.
