Question

Smooth tool popup right in the middle of the page whenever toggled.

Everytime I toggle the Smooth tool, a popup comes up right in the middle of the page for, I dunno, Smooth tool options or whatever, along with options on how to use it at the top of the page. I am turning it on with a custom key shortcut, which I set to "S."

I've been using the Smooth tool for forever and don't need instructions, and the popup comes up right in the middle where I'm working. Turning off contextual task bar doesn't help.

I am running Adobe Illustrator v. 28.6. When I opened it this morning, it updated, and now this horrible popup for the Smooth tool has been driving me crazy for the past hour. Please let me know if there is something I can do to turn it off.

Doesn't look like you can turn it off.  I have reported it.

Thank you. I hope they make it such that I have the option not to open it at all. I'm not interested in whatever new feature they're trying to push with Smoothing.
