Snapping to pixel even when option is turned off - AiCC 18

Hello! Hoping someone can help me with this problem.

I'm having issues with objects snapping to the nearest pixel even when "Align art to pixel grid on creation and transformation" is turned off. The align tool is set to "align to selection". I have no idea what is the issue and can't find any setting in Preferences that might be the culprit.

I did receive this file from my boss but he has the same version of Ai that I do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think that option is available in Illustrator CC 18:

Hi Michael,

Try looking under your 'Properties' Panel instead of the Transform panel in regards to Ray's suggestion. With the latest version of Illustration, the Properties panel has been updated to include a more comprehensive list of adjustments that includes the Pixel Grid Alignment.
