sNotifier->Notify events are queued or synchronous?

I would like to know if events in sNotifier->Notify are queued or executed immediately?

If they are queued then they will be executed asynchronously.

If they are executed immediately they are synchronous.

Is there any document ion on this issue.

I've been doing this for years and I've never seen any sign of asynchronous behaviour.

That said, I believe if you receive notifier A and start handling it, and while doing so do something to trigger notifier B, it will be sent & received immediately. So you might call an SDK function and find yourself handing a notifier before that SDK function returns. I've been away from Illustrator for nearly a year though, so my memory could be wrong on that last point, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
