So many problems.. Nothing is working!!

So this has been going on for a while now.

First of all, I use illustrator on a new MacBook pro, which is always updated, and I have the most current version of adobe illustrator and always do the updates.

I have been using illustrator for close to 2 years now and never had problems with it up until about 4 or 5 months ago.

It began with this problem, when I would zoom in or out of the artwork that I was working on, sunddenly giant pieces of a shape or object would be missing or the font would go invisible and all i could see was the outline of where it would be. Through zooming in or out again I could get it to a point where I could see all of the shapes but then the font would have random bits missing.

So after sometime that problem just went away and a new problem began.

The text boxes would suddenly go from being editable to not being editable at all. Like one minute i am typing and able to change the size of the box so that i can see all the text and then the next second the box is locked into the size it is and i cant change the size of the box. To fix this problem I constantly have to go to View > Show Bounding Box.

But the thing is I do not go in and mess with those settings I do not bump the keyboard short cut. It just happens.

So now the latest problem is when I go to draw a line the red line will show up but none of the settings I change for the actual line work and then when I click off of it there is no line. It is as though it was never added to the document. I try to change the thickness and nothing. I try to change the color nothing. It stays invisible.

And now when I try to resize font like say from 12pt to 20pt it will not change. Nothing happens!

I am so frustrated with this.

And then I got stuff printed from a printing company that you just upload the .ai file to and it came completely blurry because apparently my files were coming up that way on their system. When I look at the files they are fine but if I create a file in photoshop they are blurry. So yeah basically I am having problems with both illustrator and photoshop but far more problems with illustrator.

It is making it so hard to get stuff done.

And if anyone knows how I can actually contact Adobe please tell me. Because this is nuts for a program that costs so much money!
