I have a problem editing documents, the space key does not work and crashes my program, both in illustrator, photoshop and indesign. Have you encountered something like this?

If rebooting the system and resetting the preferences does not help, then you might want to search for the app on your system that interferes with the keystrokes. It's likely a browser, but might be other things.
