Dear team at illustrator.
You've got to come up with the ability to check spacing between two objects/elements (like figma and XD shows when you press alt and hover over other object). Why doesnt Illustrator have that already???

That is the right place for the design team to see it, rather than in a post among many in this forum where most answers are by non Adobe friends.
It also gives others the best opportunity to spot and support the request.
