Special chars in filenames generate endless re-link loop on macOS

Question

Just found out, that the current Illustrator 29.5.1 running on current macOS 15.5 has trouble with special chars in linked files. I had the copyright symbol in filenames for stock photos (e.g. ©AdobeStock_artist_photo.jpg). This led to Illustrator showing this in the Links panel as being updated externally. Updating it inside Illustrator showd it up-to-date for a couple of seconds, then it went into updated externally status again.

Illustrator 28.x handles these filenames without complains.

Could you check if this happens with specific files or files stored in a certain folder location, so I can better assist you?Also, check if Full Desk Access is enabled for Illustrator and share your observations.Looking forward to hearing from you.Anubhav
