Spilt into grid is not working

Hello

While using the spilt into grid , the curser is not moving and it is not working . For that i used ESC button then it is working. 

i could not work in this even i reset my preference but nothing helps .

 

Please let me know how i fix this issue

Thank you for reaching out, it currently working for me. I feel like there is a glitch in the version. I did restart the illustrator and my system. After some time it worked.

Which version and system is it? Did you already reboot the computer?

Yes I did everything version is latest I updated recently.
