Stock Photography ad removal

Can the Stock Photos option be removed universally in CC?

It appears by default in the CC main interface as well as within Adobe Illustrator itself... like spam.

Longtime professional user of Illustrator. Didn't expect the company to push these annoying ad-ons.

For the CC Cloud app follow the advice listed in this thread: Re: Please no Stock search field in the Creative Cloud app install list

For Illustrator if you click on the drop down arrow by the search icon you can change it from Stock to Help search mode.

I don't know if you can actually remove it completely from Illy etc. as it can be a useful feature for the majority that require stock photography etc.
