Stroke handles

Hello! I'm wondering if anyone knows why the stroke on my shape has an outline with handles. I've noticed that when I increase the stroke thickness, the outline scales accordingly. However, I would prefer to have handles that allow me to rotate the shape while connected to the circle and not the size of the circle. This only occurs when dealing with strokes applied to shapes. Please see the link showcasing an example below.

notice that the rotation handles for the circle are not directly connected to the circle itself. The gap between the circle and the handles is due to the stroke width. I would like to understand how I can make the handles touch the circle while still having a stroke applied.

Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

GoGraphix,

It is better/easier/safer for helpers if posters present screenshots directly by using the Insert Photos button (moon over mountains) in the box for posting.

I for one hesitate to go to an unknown site.
