Styling graph legend in Illustrator

Hi

Ive created a pie chart using the graph tool in illustrator - displays fine EXCEPT i want to change the leading in the legend ;list - is there a way to do this but keeping the links to the graph data? I know i can do this easliy by just ungrouping and styling as normal but that loses the link to the data and if any numbers are altered and graph is re generated it will bring the legend back in how it was
