Subject: Bug Report – Open Paths Automatically Closed in Illustrator 29.5.1

I would like to report an unexpected behavior in Adobe Illustrator version 29.5.1. When reopening previously saved files, I’ve noticed that open paths are automatically closed, which alters the original path in an unintended way.

This issue compromises the integrity of the designs, especially in workflows where path precision is critical (e.g., prepress, digital cutting, technical design).

I kindly ask you to investigate and resolve this bug in a future update, or to provide any available workaround to prevent it from occurring.
