I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Illustrator but did not work on it and completely forgot that I signed up for a product. Today I received a notification that I needed to pay for the product, but I didn't even work for them.
Can I cancel my subscription without prejudice? Thank!

There is no prejudice at all, first and foremost you need to read the terms of subscription, secondly the dues aren't contingent to the product use. Please have a look at the following link for information on how to cancel your subscription.
