Suggestions for improvement in Illustrator

There are a few ideas to improve the user experience.

  • Make it possible for the left ruler to write numbers in a line from left to right
  • Make it like in Photoshop, when the hotkey tool is pressed, then when released, return to the previous selected tool.
  • Gradients through points copy from document to document without loss.
  • Libraries: gradients through points should retain the ability to edit from the library and in the library.
  • Guides of different colors.
  • Ability for individual editing areas to change the crop and color so that it is saved as a background when exported.
  • Hotkey for zooming the view (zooming in) to the selected object or to all if nothing is selected and a separate key for zooming to all.
  • Highlighting by highlighting the selected vertex.
  • Change the display color of the selected vertex or face.
  • Make a second kind of corner rounding, super elipses.
  • Add text, typography functions from inDesign.
  • Make a hotkey for unbreakable space.
  • In find and replace, add the ability to select text and paragraph styles.
  • Resize multiple selected objects relative to each object.
  • Libraries: store the color of different color models individually so they are not converted to rgb.
  • Libraries: edit color affects related objects as a global color in the "swatches" palette.
  • Specify values for line spacing as a percentage so that it is preserved when the keel changes.
  • Settings to save a copy without the word "copy".
  • Option to remove bottom spaces "_" when saving for web
  • Customize keyboard shortcuts for panels and their menus.
  • Resize the edit area name field in the control panel (top) so that long names can be seen.
  • Sort and search Artboard.

Notsure what you are referring to, but this exists for several tools, such as Zoom or Select

  • Gradients through points copy from document to document without loss.

You mean the freeform gradients? They copy through documents, but cannot be applied to wildly different shapes.

  • Libraries: gradients through points should retain the ability to edit from the library and in the library.

Freeform gradients can be added when applied to objects.

  • Ability for individual editing areas to change the crop and color so that it is saved as a background when exported.

vector files do not have a background. Draw a rectangle behind them and assign a color.

  • Hotkey for zooming the view (zooming in) to the selected object or to all if nothing is selected and a separate key for zooming to all.

This is a setting in the Preferences > Selection and anchor display

  • Change the display color of the selected vertex or face.

The highlight color is set by setting the layer color

  • In find and replace, add the ability to select text and paragraph styles.

Try Select > Same from the menu

  • Resize multiple selected objects relative to each object.

Probably Transform Each is what you mean

  • Libraries: edit color affects related objects as a global color in the "swatches" palette.

Library colors do not link back to the documents in which they are used.

  • Option to remove bottom spaces "_" when saving for web

Are you referring to Legacy Save for web? There is a reason for why it's called legacy. There probably won't be updates to the function

  • Customize keyboard shortcuts for panels and their menus.

Edit > Keyboard shortcuts

  • Resize the edit area name field in the control panel (top) so that long names can be seen.

The control panel has a menu in which you can turn off the functions you will not use ever, in order to make room for the functions you do need.

  • Sort and search Artboard.

Take a look at the mani menu: Select > Same and Select > Object. Also you might want to install the plugin Select Menu. It's free

For everything else: https://illustrator.uservoice.com

And don't forget to describe in detail what you want and why it would be necessary for your workflow. And then also you have to get other people vote on it.
