SVG Error: External Entities

I'm working on an epub that contains a series of pictures of state flags and seals. The images are in the SVG format.

When I check my epub for errors, I get the following error code: "External entities are not allowed in EPUB v3 documents. External entity declaration found: %svg-image.mod."

One error message cited an error on line 2201, but there is no line 2201. In addition, I searched for "image.mod" and found nothing. So, I'm not sure if there's a problem with the image or if this is just a glitch with my epub error checker.

Is there a way I can search for this error if I open the image in Illustrator? Thanks.

You can't search the SVG code in Illustrator. Might be possible in Inkscape though. I would also suggest to ask about this in EPUB forums.
