SVG file is messing up image border and text

Hello,

This is my first time ever using Adobe Illustrator and I am in need of turning a logo into an svg file for work (which I don't normally do). I tried following the steps of tracing the image and expanding it to turn it into a svg file, but when I do, a lot of things are deformed and I'm not sure how to fix it. I also don't know why the text gets slightly messed up as well. I don't want it to look ~janky~ so if someone could help me on how I can fix it, I would appreciate it. I added the svg file of the logo so that you can see what I mean.
