SVG in illustrator

Hello,
whenever I group a vector and i save it as an svg it becomes ungrouped
anyone has idea how to solve this?

Exactly what are you doing?

Draw artwork, group it, save as SVG

Exactly how is the artwork organized in the Layers panel?

and then? Do you open the SVG in Illustrator? Or do you check the code?
